Soldiers for Christ

SOLDIERS FOR CHRIST

Our God is a blessing knowing no time, space or boundaries. Our Lord is the majestic Being that exists beyond our imagination, right on through to eternity. Our Father is our guarantee of grace, of comfort, of love, of holiness, of home. Our King is the picture of glory, and the sight of salvation. Our Messiah is our Friend, our existence, our food and our drink. He is all that we could never deserve, yet all that we have been given. We know no weeping when recognizing the new life in Him. We know no loneliness, even when there is silence. We know no fear when trouble is lurking.

We are the millions, bowing before His grace. We are chosen as the army of soldiers for Christ; gathering together, united in His love and power, equipped for the duty He has given us. On our way to the beautiful, profound, and everlasting Holy City, we persevere through darkness, and arm ourselves with His Sword. We are held and preserved in Him, ever assured in His grace. Should the day come when our Lord is ready to be seen by all, we are ready and waiting. For we are wise, we are faithful, and we are one in the Almighty.

We are children of His Family, fighters for His war, servants of His mission. In Christ we have new life;  an inward regeneration like no other birth of the land. In Him we sing the song of praise, forever at His mercy, and eternal heirs of His Breath and Divine Grace. We are the soldiers for Christ.

To Him we owe it all. The sweetness of His love is what holds us close, what brings us peace, and the reason we are here. To Jesus Christ in heaven be the glory. For there is no other glory to be known from here unto forever, so powerful as His. In grace, and in Him, we are saved. Let the angels and the saints and the soldiers for Christ rejoice in the coming of the Alpha and Omega.. our Lord and Savior… Hallelujah.

The Whole Armor of God

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.
